The home page is simply designed with accessible tabs and links that direct the customer to such things as the process, prices and procedure for ordering.
The customer receives an account by using his/her email and password. This account is to be used in order to monitor the progress and contact the writer or the customer service department.
The site provides a pricing calculator, so that a customer can determine the cost of the order.
The service offers a number of ways to communicate, including email, telephone, and live chat, as well as messaging through one’s account page.
We were never able to establish contact by telephone, and the problem with the phone lines is undetermined. The live chat resulted in responses, but it seems that the support staff members were not always able to answer our questions. Operators were not particularly friendly either. One simply told us to initiate a chat in a few hours and maybe they would have the answer.
E-mails were not answered promptly, and it seems it is better to communicate via the messaging on one’s own account page. A customer can get answers about the progress of the order, but it may take some time. Administrators respond that they will “check” on things and then do get back, but the writers do not seem to be too responsive. We only received a response from the writer after three direct emails.
Papershelm.com does not distinguish between academic levels for its prices. While most sites have differentiated prices for High School, College and Graduate works, this site has three “qualities” that are not well defined.
The least expensive price, for “Standard Quality,” is $21 per page with a 7-day timeframe. Prices go all the way up to $58 per page for a “Platinum Quality” work (we assume this is graduate-level) with a really short deadline.
We were promised a draft for approval, but did not get it. Paper was delivered after the deadline with errors in grammar and formatting. The resources used were not college-appropriate, and that was disappointing. When the deadline passed, we contacted but got no response, until finally the paper was sent.
Order processing specifics
- Customer should set a deadline before needed, so there is enough time to review and ask for revisions.
- Some guarantees are missing, like who owns the paper and the promise that it won’t be sold to someone else.
